Debby is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist who received her Master’s in Science Education majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2023. Debby achieved the National Certified Counselors (NCC) certification in October signifying her dedication to the high standards of counseling. Debby completed her internship requirements under the supervision of Kris Steinbeck, MS, LIMHP, NCC and will continue her provisional supervision under Kris also.

Debby works with children, adolescents, women and men of all ages, most of whom have experienced anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, abuse, and/or depression. Debby had a remarkable 26 years as a nurse and realizing the transformative impact mental health can have, Debby decided to pursue a career in mental health to enhance her effectiveness in working with people.

Debby is based at our satellite clinic in Stuart, Ne where she sees clients both in person and via telehealth. Debby is deeply passionate about her work and employs person-centered therapy, CBT, and EMDR.
