With more than 27 years of experience as a nurse, Debby brings a unique and deeply compassionate perspective to mental health care. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Provider (LIMHP) with a particular passion for supporting medical professionals, first responders, children, and adolescents as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges.

She is a strong advocate for children, committed to ensuring their voices are heard, their needs are understood, and they receive developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed care. Her extensive background as a school nurse has strengthened her ability to build meaningful connections with young clients and their families, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.

Debby specializes in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, abuse, and depression. She is trained in attachment-based Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (IoWA-PCIT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with advanced training in EMDR Sandtray and specialized intensive training in Child EMDR. These evidence-based approaches support children in safely processing trauma, strengthening secure attachment, building self-esteem, and improving emotional regulation and behavior. Based out of satellite clinics in Stuart and O’Neill, Debby provides both in-person and telehealth services to clients of all ages across Nebraska. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a strong commitment to fostering healing, resilience, and long-term growth.
