Victoria Volkman

Victoria Volkman, MA, PLMHP is licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist.  She received her degree from Chadron State College, where she completed her internship, working with emerging adults on a variety of issues including career development, depression, and childhood sexual assault. Victoria is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence based practice used to treat individuals who have experienced trauma. Victoria is also trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), as she has an appreciation for how the mind, heart, and body work together. With a 17-year work history of engaging youth, emerging adults, and adults, Victoria has developed a keen sense of helping others find passion and purpose through life transitions. She is adept at moving people through grief and loss, providing psychoeducation to create clarity for her clients and evoking confidence and life perspective shifts. Adding to this, Victoria has a strong biblically-based foundation to share with those looking to maintain their biblical worldview as a cornerstone for treatment, upon request.
